Well I'm not really off today, but it is raining really hard again. Yesterday was busy, I got a lot of grapes and apples pruned and a bunch more blackberries hacked out of the grapes.
Today Dad and I went and got vermiculite and perlite from the Grange Coop for making our sprouting mixes and potting soil. Already have the sphagnum moss and steer manure.
Sad news again, a good friend of the family, Byron Cummings passed away. Will be attending his service tomorrow and am having that weird feeling of dread and detachment that always comes with any event that involves more than a few people. I'm not really phobic, just heavily unnerved. My best wishes to Byron's family.
