Lovely Fall Sunday

Ran to Medford, got supplies. Mellow autumn sunshine all afternoon long- after a dim gray morning of fog.

Foliage color is getting like flashbulb quality brightness in places around the valley. Will have images soon.

Last week of picking corn and we're supposed to have rain starting tomorrow after 11am.

Got a last few chores to do this evening so I don't have to do them in the morning.

Y'all have yourselves a mighty fine night now.

Just recently found your site. I'm from Grants Pass. Might I from time to time ask you for some advice on the care of my garden plants?

The leaves are only beginning to change here. It's a little late this year due to the unusual weather. Unfortunately too many people are blaming global warming just because that's the latest scapegoat, but I can recall a few years in the last 20 when the autumn colors were delayed or accelerated for similar reasons. Only in the last couple of years have people been expecting every year to be the same. ;-)

Hi RP,
There is as much to be learned from a good question as there is to be taught.

Hi Rae,
As everyone in the liberal camp knows, the earth is an unchanging disc which is circled by the sun, moon and planets each isolated in their own crystalline sphere.
