This is a wonderful day of celebration in our country. Independence from tyranny, what an awesome gift the founding fathers imparted to the rest of us. Everybody grab a hot dog or slice of pie and get ready for the fireworks.
Oh, and Happy belated birthday to you too! Sorry it slipped past me. I'm having some bereavement issues. It's weird because all of April and May I was doing really pretty well, but June and so far July have been awful. Maybe it was brought on by my dad's June 8 birthday and then Father's Day a week later. I wish I could be a perfect, emotionless robot sometimes. ;-)
It slipped past me too Rae although mom made sure we celebrated with a "Hawaiian sunset" cake. Thanks for remembering or at least keeping an entry in your calendar.
